I am a fully qualified and experienced psychotherapist and counsellor. I am accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP) and The European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP).
My Core Training was in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, which I completed in 2009. This approach emphasises, trusts and respects peoples inherent capacity for growth, free will and expression of their creative potential. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to support people develop greater self awareness, self-respect and a sense of personal competence as they explore the meaning of their life and their experience.
I have been practicing and studying meditation since 2002 and this informs my work as I guide people into a deeper understanding of themselves. I have undertaken additional post graduate training in working with couples, trauma and eating disorders, and this informs my work. I use a holistic approach, believing our bodies, minds, emotions and relationships all contribute to our emotional wellbeing.
