Join a Drumming Circle

Drum circles are a powerful and good for our mental and emotional wellbeing. You don't have to be able to play one or to be musical to join one. Drumming releases endorphins, enkephalins and Alpha waves in the brain, which are associated with general feelings of well-being and euphoria. Try it and see how happy it makes you feel.

Studies show that drumming circles boost our immune system and help control chronic pain. Drumming stimulates our creative expression and gives us a sense of  our connectedness to others. Drumming circles and group drumming classes provide an opportunity to connect with both ourselves and others in an energetic and fun way.

Drumming can serve as a form of self-expression, releasing and transforming negative emotions. You can literally drum out your feelings. Drumming has been used therapeutically to help addicts deal with their emotions.

Drumming puts us in the present moment. While drumming you are moving your awareness toward the flow of life. When you are flowing with the rhythm of life you cannot be caught up in your past or worrying about your future.
