Couples & Relationship Issues

We come into the world through a relationship and we are shaped by the kinds of relationships we have with others. It is the quality of our closest relationships that often what gives life its primary meaning,

From our earliest beginnings we depend on others for our well-being and survival. Absence of emotionally nurturing and supportive relationships impacts negatively on our mental health and emotional well being and so attending to the quality of these relationships is important.

By understanding and working through the emotional residues imprinted on our nervous systems since childhood, we can begin to free ourselves to relate to others in ways which are more emotionally meaningful and rewarding. By exploring and understanding our patterns of relating, we begin to have choices in how we want to relate in the future. Making small changes can significantly impact on the quality of our relationships.

I like to work with both individuals and couples to understand and resolve any difficulties they might be experiencing in their relationships.
